Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
The Sales Assistant will play a key role in driving sales by assisting the Sales Manager to implement an organized sales strategy as help monitor Route sales .
Responsibilities
- Deal with customers and major banners professionally; provide attentive customer service to enhance the Dimpflmeier Bakery products experience
- Assist customers with product and delivery inquiries
- Respond to any customer or major banner concerns or complaints
- Assist to upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Provide information on promotions and sales to Route Sales force
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
- Support team members with organizational tasks
Experience
- Experience building relationships with retail, wholesale, or foodservice customers.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Understanding of the food industry, including trends and seasonality.
- Experience with merchandising and promotional planning.
- Ability to delegate and follow up effectively.
- Leads by example with a positive attitude.
- Ability to resolve customer concerns professionally.
