Part-Time Violin Teacher
Teaching Options: In-Studio, In-Home
The Music Studio is accepting applications for a Part-Time Violin Teacher for our 2026/2027 year. Our regular season begins in September, however some summer teaching may also be available. If you have high standards for music education, love to inspire students and enjoy seeing youth grow and thrive through music and would like to be a part of West Calgary’s leading music school we want to hear from you. Availability on Fridays and/or Saturdays is required.
Private Violin Teacher applicants must have:
- Previous private teaching experience (with all ages of students) as well as knowledge and previous application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum for private lessons, and the availability to work on days noted - depending on student loads.
- Post-secondary music education and previous teaching experience on a variety of string instruments is an asset.
Successful applicants will be friendly and outgoing, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, love working in a team and possesses a reliable way of getting to the Studio.
