Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling standards at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving times for food and drinks
- Uphold all restaurant policies related to food safety, alcohol service, and hospitality standards
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating drink recipes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality background is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction
