About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Clerk to support daily customer service and operational activities. This role acts as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and issues while also supporting order management, invoicing, credits, returns, and ERP-related processes.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities at once, and communicating professionally with customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and perform order entry accurately
- Handle inbound customer calls and general inquiries
- Support customers with account walkthroughs, portal logins, and order placement
- Follow up with customers regarding additional orders or outstanding issues
- Assist customers experiencing payment or credit card issues on the website
- Create shipping labels for customer returns
- Process invoices, credits, and related documentation
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints and issue resolution
- Investigate short payments, deductions, marketing fees, and invoice discrepancies
- Coordinate warehouse pickups, returns, credits, and invoice corrections
- Update and reconcile customer and order information within the ERP system
- Work cross-functionally with warehouse, accounting, and operations teams to resolve issues efficiently
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, operations support, order management, or a related role
- Basic accounting knowledge, including familiarity with debits/credits and AP/AR concepts
- Experience using ERP or financial systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple issues and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and customer-focused phone manner
- Retail or customer-facing leadership experience (key holder, senior associate, supervisor, etc.) is considered an asset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Work Environment
- Full-time, onsite position
- Five days per week in office
- Collaborative, fast-paced team environment
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
