Position Overview
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for leading all aspects of daily front-of-house operations, ensuring operational efficiency and a positive, motivated team culture. This role requires strong leadership, refined hospitality skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high volume setting without compromising on quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring service excellence and smooth workflow across all shifts.
- Lead, train, mentor, and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver polished, attentive and knowledgeable service.
- Partner with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between front and back of house
- Manage reservations, guest flow, and seating to optimize the dining experience and maximize revenue
- Uphold brand standards for presentation, service, and guest engagement
- Maintain operational budgets, inventory control and cost management
- Recruit, schedule, and evaluate team members, fostering professional growth and retention.
- Collaborate with the winery team to integrate wine education and sales into the dining experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of progressive restaurant management experience, ideally in a high-volume hospitality environment
- Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams with professionalism and grace under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of wine service and pairing; WSET, CMS, or similar wine education an asset.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
- $20-24 per hour plus Gratuities
