We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Document Administrator to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the company’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management System. Reporting to the Director, Health & Safety, this temporary 6-month role will focus on formatting, standardizing, and publishing controlled HSE documentation in alignment with Norland’s document control standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Format and publish HSE procedures, forms, and templates in Microsoft Word to Norland’s document control layout, style, and numbering standards.

Build and maintain reusable Word templates with locked styles, correct heading hierarchies, and controlled placeholder structure.

Apply consistent document metadata (document IDs, revision history tables, approval blocks, headers/footers).

Receive redlined or draft content from HSE and Operations and return publication-ready documents.

Identify and flag formatting inconsistencies across the document library.
Qualifications & Skills:

At least 1 year of experience supporting projects in an administrative, coordination, or project support capacity.

Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business, Communications, or a related discipline.

Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including styles, templates, section breaks, headers/footers, tracked changes, and mail merge.

Strong attention to detail and ability to apply a defined standard consistently.

Familiarity with document control concepts (revision control, naming conventions, controlled distribution).

Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple documents simultaneously.
Compensation:
The role is a 6-month fixed-term, full-time position with a typical starting salary range of $52,000 to $60,000 per annum. Variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
