Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery trucks and heavy equipment, including forklifts and cranes when necessary, to load and unload freight.
- Deliver goods to customers and clients in a timely and professional manner across assigned routes.
- Inspect vehicles regularly for safety issues and perform basic maintenance or report repairs needed.
- Assist with loading and securing freight, ensuring proper handling of heavy or fragile items.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading cargo.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight delivery, or related logistics roles.
- DZ license mandatory.
- Crane truck operator.
- Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive repair basics is a plus for vehicle troubleshooting.
- Valid DZ license with a clean driving record is required.
- Prior experience operating heavy machinery or industrial vehicles is advantageous.
