Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Seal Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, with the ability to read electrical plans. This role involves full-time construction site work. The Journeyperson Electrician will ensure compliance with the CEC, electrical specifications and WSBC compliance. Primarily day shift, but must be willing to work evening and /or night shifts as required.
Responsibilities
- Install various electrical systems on commercial construction sites.
- Read and interpret electrical plans.
- Work on construction various locations anywhere from Chilliwack to Vancouver.
- Ensure safety compliance and procedures.
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to complete projects efficiently
- Perform renovation tasks as needed, including frame carpentry when required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Work toward FSR certification.
Skills Required
- Foundation understanding of commercial constructed processes.
- Experience in line voltage systems, fire alarm systems, mechanical equipment power supply, EMT conduit, and other division 26 systems.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience in reading electrical plans.

Pay: $38.00-$48.00 per hour
