JOB DESCRIPTION:
l Relevant Supervisory experience in Flat Metal Fabrication.
I Relevant Assembly experience with Flat Metal parts.
l Ability to work with hand and power tools.
l Hands on experience with CNC equipment such as Shears, Punch and Press Brakes .
l Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
I Experience using Forklift.

l Complete all required paperwork daily (timecards, job worksheets etc)

l Follow management instructions as required.
l Be a positive role model for all other team members
MAIN JOB DUTIES:
l Lead the fabrication and Assembly department team to complete jobs well and on time.
I Perform daily job tasks safely, effectively, with quality workmanship and on-time
l Communicate immediately to manager should any problems arise with tasks assigned
l Ensure all company equipment / shop supplies are used safely, accurately and efficiently
l Ensure scrap and rework to a minimum - report scrap and/or rework immediately to supervisor
l Complete all required paperwork daily (timecards, job worksheets etc)
l Ensure department work area is clean, organized and free of any safety hazards at all times
l Report any safety hazards immediately to manager
l Participate in continuous improvement activities as required
l Suggest continuous improvement initiatives
l Maintain a positive team atmosphere and work together within the team to ensure that company goals and targets, as communicated by the senior management team, are met or exceeded
l Ensure safety policies and regulations are followed at all times.
