About the Role
The Program Supervisor will play a crucial role in leading and supervising our dedicated staff, ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our clients. This position involves hands-on involvement with programming, direct care of clients, and collaboration with the Program Manager to maintain a high standard of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the administrative operations for the residence.
- Hands-on participation in programming with supported individuals in accordance with established plans.
- Supervise, support, and coach front-line staff, ensuring professionalism, compassion and respect for clients, and health and safety compliance.
- Implement Behavior Support Plans, QAM requirements, organizational policies, and mandatory training.
- Conduct performance reviews, assist with hiring, and address staff issues with Area Manager support.
- Document and maintain timely, accurate records, including daily reports, logbooks, data sheets, time sheets, payroll, and attendance.
- Monitor monthly schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
- Review schedules monthly to ensure adequate staff coverage as required for the home.
- Establish and direct regularly scheduled staff meetings.
- Submit incident reports accurately and promptly; collaborate on serious occurrence reports with Director of Service.
- Oversee client transportation according to Ministry of Transportation and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Completion of a relevant Human Services Diploma (e.g., Social Service Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, etc.).
- Experience supporting adults with complex developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, supervise, coach, and direct work.
- Self motivated and demonstrated ability to motivate others.
- Current CPR/First Aid certificate
- Current UMAB training is also considered an asset
- G-Class driver's license, valid insurance, and a reliable vehicle
- Satisfactory vulnerable sector police records check
- Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
