Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous Industrial Sandblasting/Painting experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of corrosion-control methods and processes
- Knowledge of controlling, adjusting, starting and stopping sandblasting equipment
- Experience with airless spray pump
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe manner
- Great attention to detail with the ability to focus on the task at hand
- Accountable and dependable
- Motivated & team orientation
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on sandblasting and enamels and epoxy painting equipment to produce finishes that meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Masking and preparing material for blasting
- Inspect all jobs for quality (material, painting)
- Ensure proper drying times are met
- Perform tasks such as grinding and using various tools
- Troubleshooting issues with sandblast unit, compressor, blast pot, hose etc.
- Ensure proper maintenance on sandblasting & painting equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Physical stamina, frequent standing, bending over and lifting
- Work in a safe manner by following all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and company policies and procedures
- Perform other essential duties as required
Job Type & Salary: Full-time, Permanent. Salary Range 40-60,000 and will commensurate with qualifications and experience
