Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting our culinary staff, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to cleanliness, and a passion for hospitality. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this vital position.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning
- Assist in organizing and restocking supplies as needed to support smooth kitchen operations
- Support food preparation activities by handling food handling tasks in accordance with safety standards (if applicable)
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a hygienic work environment at all times
Skills
- Experience in cleaning, food handling, or restaurant operations is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Hospitality experience or hotel background is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn food preparation, cooking, serving, and other hospitality-related skills
