Applications are now being accepted for a Casual Registered Pharmacy Technician. The successful applicant must be able to work Monday-Sunday, 0630-1430, 0700-1500, 0730-1530, 0800-1600, 0830-1630, 1000-1800, and 1200-2000, including holidays. Casual employees must be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month, 1 of which must be a weekend shift.
Education
- Diploma from an Accredited College program for Pharmacy Technicians
- Regulated Pharmacy Technician by Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment preferred
- IV preparation experience considered an asset
Skills/Ability
- Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Other
- General good health, good attendance record and a level of fitness appropriate for the demands of the position is required
- Registered Part A pharmacy technician under Ontario College of Pharmacists.
