Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with enthusiasm to ensure a positive dining experience
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments swiftly using POS systems
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings or specialty drinks, to enhance guest satisfaction
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring all service areas are well-prepared
- Uphold all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times to ensure guest safety and compliance
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or any POS is advantageous
- Experience working in nightclubs, banquet settings, or catering environments will set you apart
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions, and accurate order processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations
