Keystone Western Inc. is looking for Deck Truck Drivers with a Class 1 License with a minimum of two years of deck driving experience to join our team in the Deck Long Haul division with eligibility to cross the border.
We require:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years experience as a class 1 driver
- Experience working on flat deck
- Able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to be on the road and away from home up to 14 days
- Fully inspect the vehicle before beginning the route to ensure proper and safe handling conditions
- Clean driver abstract, Criminal Record check, Pass drug and alcohol test
- Able to cross the U.S./Canadian Border
- Maintain an accurate MOT/DOT logbook, Run on ELD, Familiar with Canada and U.S.A. - H.O.S. regulations
- No major preventable accidents in the past three years
- Able to complete routes safely in varied driving conditions (city/country/difficult weather)

Responsibilities
- Operate and drive a Class 1 truck for long-haul transportation of deck freight across CAD and US borders.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance, reporting any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
