Job Summary:
Once Upon A Child Varsity is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager and or District Manager in daily operations, staff management, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
- Train and develop store staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure merchandise is displayed effectively
- Handle cash transactions
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members
- Implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet targets
- Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail sales and management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in training staff is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
