Rental Technician – Oilfield Services
Location: Grande Prairie, AB (Travel throughout Northern Alberta & Fort St. John, BC)

AMA Energy Rentals is looking for a motivated and safety-focused Rental Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on field position servicing customers throughout the Grande Prairie region and Fort St. John area.
Responsibilities
- Rig up and rig out tank farms at customer locations.
- Deliver, install, inspect, and service oilfield rental equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tanks and rental equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues in the field.
- Complete equipment inspections and required documentation.
- Load, unload, and secure equipment for transport.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and client procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized service truck and work area.
- Provide professional customer service while working at client sites.
Qualifications
- Oilfield experience is preferred.
- Experience with tank farms and rental equipment is considered an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence (Class 1 or 3 is an asset).
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- Standard First Aid & CPR (asset)
- H2S Alive
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol test may be required.
