Dataco Utility Services LTD: offers an opportunity for an organized and motivated service-oriented individual who will be involved in providing field service in the city of Calgary in the province of Alberta.
You will be performing Meter disconnects/reconnects/meter exchanges of the electric meters in a variety of conditions (both indoor and outdoor) and in accordance with policy and procedures.
You will read meters, interpret and apply information obtained from maps schedules and reports using specific programs and IPad/phone.
We are currently seeking 1 fulltime position
Minimum Requirements:
The ability to communicate clearly in the English language, both verbal & written.

Be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Alberta Class 5 Operator's License.
Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
Preference given to those possessing directly related Service Technician experience.
Must have your own reliable vehicle
Must be able to pass an alcohol and drug test
Must be able to provide a clean police clearance record and a drivers abstract with no demerits for the last 6 months.
ALL TRAINING PROVIDED - BOTH ONLINE AND IN FIELD
Compensation
Piece rate ***paid per order completed*** approx. 55k - 75k per year
Hours of work and days of work
Fulltime position - Monday to Friday 8:30 – 5:00 ….and as per special requirements must have some availability for weekends/evenings for customer appts and commercial/business meter changes or occassional internal shift coverage.
