Job Description:
We are looking to fill 2 carpentry positions in our team at Go Time Contracting. One skilled/highly experienced carpenter and one apprentice/laborer. We are a custom home builder and renovator based out of Chetwynd, BC. We do everything from foundations to interior finishing.
Key Requirements:
Skilled carpenter
- Proven experience with diverse carpentry tasks, ideally redseal or 3rd-4th year
- Able to work productively both independently or in team settings
- ICF, framing, window/door installation, flooring/tiling experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment a must
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Laborer/apprentice
- Some site experience an asset but not necessary
- Naturally prioritizes organization and cleanliness
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding manual labor tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to problem solve
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with tool maintenance is a plus
- Drivers license and transportation required, ability to drive with trailers ideal
