Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining an efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn and grow within the food industry is equally valued.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by providing timely and accurate meal preparation
- Ensure all food is stored properly in accordance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of service and quality
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
- Passion for the food industry and a desire to develop culinary skills
