We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or damage, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies with appropriate action.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations.
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials and managing visitor check-ins.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to resolve incidents effectively.
- Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize suspicious activity quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and stand for extended periods.
