Overview:
Nissin Transport (Canada) Inc. under the direction of the President, is seeking a highly motivated and results driven Sales Executive to support the continued growth of out supply chain and logistics operations in British Columbia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business development, cultivating strong client relationships, and developing tailored logistics solutions. This role requires a solid understanding of transportation and distribution services, along with the ability to consistently achieve sales targets in a competitive and dynamic market.
Salary
Yearly Base Salary of $40,000.00 + Commission and Group Benefits + Company Car
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across British Columbia
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both prospective and existing clients
- Assess client supply chain requirements and recommend appropriate logistics and transportation solutions
- Review existing client accounts to identify opportunities for additional services and business growth
- Conduct sales calls, client visits, and outreach activities independently or collaboratively with the sales team to establish and strengthen customer relationships
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
- Collaborate closely with internal operations teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Consistently meet of exceed established sales targets and performance metrics
- Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field preferred.
- 5-10+ years of sales experience within transportation, freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain industries.
- Proven track record of generating new business and growing a strong book of business in a logistics environment.
- Strong network within the logistics/supply chain industry and could develop long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Solid experience in account management and contract negotiations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of interprovincial and international logistics.
- Highly motivated, results-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment independently or collaboratively.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skill with attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and business development activities.
