Overview
We are seeking an energetic and proactive office manager to oversee the daily operations of our Ajax site, in conjunction with our two other clinic locations. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while ensuring operational flow. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling and physician calendars, while analyzing patient feedback and implementing changes where necessary
- Oversee staff performance, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating team members
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA guidelines
- Manage clinic supplies inventory to optimize operational efficiency
- Ensure that the team is utilizing electronic medical records systems to maintain accurate patient data and documentation
- Coordinate with medical professionals such as nurses, sonographers, and administrative staff to facilitate seamless patient care and proper clinic flow
- Implement policies related to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality assurance
- Handle escalations and conflict resolution
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising and/or managing a medical office setting
- Strong leadership skills and background in human resources management within a clinic environment (cross-functional team management is a great asset!)
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems and medical terminology
- Experience with budgeting, inventory control, and vendor negotiations
- Exceptional communication skills and phone etiquette
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and patient satisfaction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook,Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional certification or degree in healthcare administration is a plus
