Job Hours
Expected hours for this position are:
> Monday - Thursday: 2:00 - 8:30 pm
> Saturdays: 8:00 - 1:00 pm
Position hours may increase after the probational period has been successfully completed. Retention bonus is available at the six-month point of the position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the aquatic centre, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed by staff and guests.
- Positively help staff members to follow procedures and improve skills & work performance to ensure they are providing consistent quality services
- Oversee guest services, addressing inquiries with enthusiasm and resolving conflicts promptly to enhance visitor satisfaction.
- Ensure clients at the facility have a pleasant experience, reply to any questions clients or staff may have during open hours, and assist office manager as needed (this may include items such as replying to client emails, answering / returning client phone calls, and general office work required to ensure a smooth operation)
- Train new staff on required facility operations including tasks such as pool water tests, general cleaning, and facility protocols)
Experience
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Excellent customer service skills with experience working with children and diverse guest groups.
- Experience managing teams in busy environments is highly valued.
- Background in sales and client retention would be preferred
