Job Overview
ICR’s Construction & Maintenance Division is growing, and we’re looking for a hands-on maintenance professional ready to take the next step in their career.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked in the field, understands the tools, materials, and real-world challenges, and is now looking to transition into a more structured role that blends field leadership with coordination and planning.
As the Construction Coordinator, you will act as the bridge between the field and the office—supporting Maintenance and Construction teams by ensuring work is properly organized and executed to a high standard.
You won’t be behind a desk all day—you’ll still be on-site, solving problems, supporting technicians, and ensuring jobs are done right, while also contributing to planning, documentation, and coordination.

- Coordinate trades and subcontractors on-site to keep projects moving
- Monitor job progress and ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and quality expectations
- Assist with permits, inspections, and required documentation
- Complete material takeoffs and coordinate deliveries with suppliers
- Identify and resolve issues early using your field experience
Scoping & Job Preparation
- Help build accurate scopes of work based on first-hand field knowledge
- Identify risks, access challenges, and material requirements before work begins
- Review drawings and plans with a practical, field-based lens
- Support estimating by providing insight into labour, materials, and job complexity
Communication & Team Coordination
- Act as the key link between technicians, managers, and the office
- Ensure clear communication of job expectations, updates, and changes
- Participate in field meetings and provide grounded, experience-based input
- Keep documentation current to support billing, reporting, and client communication

- Ready to step into a role that combines field expertise with coordination and planning
- Strong understanding of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, envelope)
- Comfortable reading drawings, scopes, and technical documents—but grounded in real-world application
- Known for being practical, solutions-focused, and reliable on-site
- A natural communicator who can work with both field teams and office staff
