Overview
We connect our products with customers right down the street and all across the globe. As our business grows, our shipping department is expanding and we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare packages for shipment ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and documentation compliance for local and global shipping
- Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders accurately through order picking and order fulfillment procedures
- Generate packing slips, commercial invoices, customs declarations,and bills of lading (BOL).
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock adjustments
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment following safety protocols
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, especially in shipping & receiving or order fulfillment roles
- Strong basic math skills for inventory counting and order calculations
- Experience with e-commerce logistics processes is advantageous
- Knowledge of packaging standards to ensure product safety during transit
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Physical ability to load & unload shipments, lift heavy items as needed, and stand for extended periods
