Integrative Healthcare Practitioner Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicaed and compassionate Integrative Healthcare Practitioner such as: Naturopathic Doctor (ND), Acupuncturist, Manual Osteopath, Counselor, Massage Therapist, etc. to join Regina’s newest collaborative health centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a deep understanding of natural healing methods, while being able to comfortably collaborate with western-medical doctors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand medical history and current health concerns.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that fit within your scope of practice.
- Provide ongoing patient care and support, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress.
- Educate patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with clinic policies.
- Stay updated on the latest research and developments in your profession.
- Ultimately though, you run your business the way you see fit.
Requirements
- Valid diploma or similar from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure and libaility insurance to practice in Saskatchewan.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and its application in patient care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
