Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment and systems, with a strong focus on PLCs, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This role requires a hands-on individual who can diagnose issues efficiently and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
ResponsibilitiesPLC Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve faults in PLC-controlled equipment.
- Connect to and troubleshoot PLC systems, particularly B&R and Automation Direct platforms.
- Trace and identify power, signal, and communication issues.
Electrical Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems operating at:
- 12V
- 24V
- 120V
- 240V
- Experience with 480V and 600V systems is considered an asset.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Hydraulic Systems
- Replace cylinders, seals, hoses, pumps, and motors.
- Diagnose hydraulic leaks and system failures.
- Clean and maintain filters and related components.
Pneumatic Systems
- Replace cylinders, seals, and hoses.
- Diagnose leaks and maintain pneumatic components.
- Clean filters and ensure proper system operation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PLC systems, especially B&R and Automation Direct.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overnight shifts.
Required Tools
Candidates must provide their own:
- Multimeter
- Wrenches
- Screwdrivers
- Allen keys
- Pliers
Specialty tools will be provided by the company.
Schedule
- Rotating 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
- Weekend availability
- On-call and overtime as required
- Operations run 7 days per week
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $25.00–$45.00 per hour (based on experience)
