Duties
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outside sales efforts and market research
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while meeting client needs
- Manage accounts efficiently, providing tailored solutions that align with client objectives
- Conduct business development activities including outreach, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase brand awareness and generate leads
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new product or service opportunities
- Provide technical sales support for complex products or services, ensuring clients understand features and benefits
- Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Business development expertise to identify growth opportunities in competitive markets
- Excellent account management skills for nurturing long-term client relationships
- Knowledge of marketing strategies that support sales initiatives
- Analytical skills to interpret market data and customer needs for strategic planning
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing sales pipelines and customer data
- Technical sales experience is preferred for explaining complex products or services clearly
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor
