Role Description:
- Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Advanced and minor repairs of machines and peripheral equipment
- Fabricate and install equipment
- Fulfill kaizen improvements on production lines or equipment
- Prepare new production lines and equipment
- Modify and improve equipment
- Support and develop improvement opportunities
- Develop good working knowledge of all equipment
Requirements:
- Must carry a recognized Ontario Skilled Trades Certification.
- Minimum 5 years Mechanical, Electrical and/or Electronic experience required
- Must be able to work under pressure to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a line down situation.
- Pneumatics and hydraulic experience is an asset
- PLC, HMI, robot and vision programming experience is an asset
- Knowledge of injection molding is an asset
