Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in other kitchen positions within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
