Benchmark Fabricators is hiring a CAD/CAM Designer to help translate architectural intent into fabrication-ready models and shop drawings. You'll support custom cladding and façade systems and collaborate with production using CNC-compatible workflows.
Responsibilities
Produce accurate shop drawings, layouts, and fabrication packages from project documents.
Create/adjust models for CNC cutting/forming workflows and support production readiness.
Coordinate drawing revisions, issue logs, and field/install feedback.
Support constructability reviews and material optimization to reduce waste/rework.
Communicate with project coordinators, production, and external stakeholders as required.
Qualifications
Diploma in Architectural/Mechanical Drafting, Engineering Technology, or similar.
Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Inventor or similar-depending on your shop tools).
High attention to detail with revision control and shop-ready documentation.
Experience in façade/cladding, metal fabrication, or manufacturing is a strong asset.
Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
