As a Body Shop Technician, a typical day might include the following:
- Support in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle
- Repair collision damaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units
- Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair order
- Maintain work area appearance and safety
- Road test vehicles when necessary
- Maintain current knowledge of the job and technical skills and manufacturer’s repair process
- Maintain clean and safe work area
- Ensure safe movement of vehicles in, out and through the body shop
- Other duties as assigned
This job might be right for you if:
- You have a 310B Autobody Technician Licensed Obtained
- You have a valid G class driver’s license.
- You pay attention to detail. You ensure all work is completed accurately and with precision in a timely manner.
- You are able to work in a fast-paced environment. You demonstrate multitasking abilities while working under pressure.
- You are self-motivated and driven. You volunteer for new challenges and responsibilities, all while maintaining high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
