Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Install pipes and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and more
- Use power tools to cut, bend, and thread pipes
- Weld or solder piping together for proper installation
- Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and provide solutions
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems meet specifications
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems
- Ability to build and plumb new structures or modify existing ones
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor in a construction environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00-$28.00 per hour
