Shifts: Days, Afternoons, Midnights
General Duties
On-Call production employees supplement our full-time staff for vacation relief, absenteeism relief, and fluctuations in production demand. Hours per week are varied, and availability for all shifts (Days, Afternoons, Midnights) is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Various wrapping and packaging duties
- Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work station
- Assisting with quality control
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school (OSSD or equivalent)
- Completion of post-secondary education an asset
- Quick learner with leadership qualities, superior communication and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to quickly identify and take action in a safe manner
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs
- Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset
- Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in the food industry, is an asset
- Flexible availability for all shifts
Shift Premiums
- Afternoons $1.14 / hour
- Midnights $1.49 / hour
