What You Bring:
The successful candidate has experience working in a heavy equipment dealership parts department and inventory environment, along with supply chain-related education or a Parts Technician Journeyperson background. They demonstrate strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a customer-focused approach to their work.
Other requirements include:
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent time management, organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A positive attitude and commitment to building strong working relationships.
This position is classified as an Individual Contributor role in SMS Equipment’s competency framework, requiring demonstration of core competencies (customer focus, collaboration, and technical/functional expertise).
