Job description
Lafrance Ag Services is looking for a Part time or full time shop mechanic to help out and take care our small fleet of farm equipment. This person will be ask to perform regular maintenance/repairs and ask periodically to operate machinery.
Full time/Part time Position
(with flexible hours during the off-season)
Salary: Salary will be based on experience/skills
Experience/Skills:
- Mechanically inclined (required).
- Great problem solving skills
- Valid driver’s licence (required) and a means of getting to and from work (required).
- Able to weld (required)
- Able to operate heavy machinery or agricultural machinery (asset) or willing to learn.
- Able to use precision agriculture technology (e.g., GPS systems and rate controllers) (asset) or able to learn quickly.
- A/Z drivers licences (asset)
