Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Retail Manager to support our general manager and drive the success of our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that our store meets its sales goals while providing a welcoming environment for customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet store targets.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment processes.
- Maintain an organized store layout that enhances the shopping experience.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Special projections relatiing to both stores as needed.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams.
- Proficient in recruiting, interviewing, and training new employees.
- Excellent mathematical skills for managing budgets, pricing, and payroll calculations.
- Effective phone etiquette for communicating with customers and vendors.
- Multilingual skills are a plus to cater to diverse customer bases.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment.
- food service experience is an asset

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6-12 months
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
