Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Painter to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle painting, a strong understanding of automotive refinishing techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
- Apply paint, clear coats, and finishes using spray guns and hand tools with precision
- Ensure all paint jobs meet quality standards and adhere to safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Inspect finished work for consistency, color match, and surface imperfections
- Collaborate with technicians and body shop staff to complete repairs promptly
- Follow manufacturer specifications and environmental regulations during painting processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Body Shop Painter or similar role within an automotive repair environment
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, spray guns, and other painting equipment
- Ability to perform lifting as needed for vehicle parts or equipment
- Automotive repair experience with a focus on refinishing techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
