We’re looking for an experienced, highly organized MOA to join our Family Medicine practice in the heart of Vancouver!
As an MOA, you’ll support a team of highly collaborative physicians who have built long-term relationships with their wonderful patients, many of whom they’ve been caring for over a decade.
Our practice is a full-spectrum primary care clinic with 10 exam rooms, a shared working space with dedicated desks, and private call rooms. We have built a beautiful new clinic a few blocks from VGH, with floor-to-ceiling views of False Creek and the North Shore mountains. The Clinical Director works on-site to support the team.
Position Overview: In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting our physicians, RN, and enhancing patient care. You will work closely with our medical team to assist with clinical tasks, manage patient interactions, and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and RN during patient examinations and procedures.
- Record patient history, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are ready.
- Manage patient communications, including scheduling, follow-up, and answering questions.
- Support physicians in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as coordinating referrals, managing test results, and updating medical records.
- Ensure compliance with all clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Office Assistant program.
- Previous experience in a family practice or primary care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft. Google Documents and Sheets is a plus.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
