We are seeking a Team Members to join our Metal Business Unit. This hands-on role involves forming, testing, and assembling large composite disks using specialized tools and equipment.
Starting pay: $21.50/hr, plus $.50 Shift premium
Schedule: Monday to Thursday Afternoons 10 hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut and form materials as per work orders
- Assemble disk components using glue, spot welding, and riveting
- Operate presses, hoists, and other tools
- Maintain safety and quality standards
- Support team initiatives and report issues promptly
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations
- PPE required: steel toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, face shield, etc.
- Physical demands include standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and grasping
