We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR to join our Prefab Team. (Press Brake is a Accurpress, ETS3000)
As the successful candidate, your main focus will be the efficient operation of a Brake Press on the manufacturing floor including daily inspection of the unit and set up for each brake job. Primary responsibilities will include operation of Brake Press for agricultural, commercial and industrial handling equipment as well as other related custom prototypes. Other responsibilities may include the transportation of steel within the factory and machine maintenance. This is all accomplished in a high paced manufacturing environment.
Brake Press Operators are expected to carry out their work with care for quality and safety. The Brake Press Operator must adhere to Norstar Safety Policies as well as Norstar Quality Standards. The position of Brake Press will answer to the Shop Manager and will be required to work with other employees as part of a team.
Requirements
- Experience operating a Brake Press an asset
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy environment
- Ability to read, understand and follow blueprints

Norstar shift schedule is Monday to Thursday 10-hour days (6:00 AM to 4:30 PM)
