Lifting Equipment Ltd. has a permanent full-time position available immediately. We have been in business for over 40 years servicing the oil and gas industry in the repair and inspection of cranes, lifting devices & fall protection equipment.
This position is a senior technician role - the work entails inspection and repair of overhead crane systems, hoists, trolleys, pullers and fall protection equipment. You will travel in a company vehicle to different locations within Alberta, BC and Sask., have your own room each night and receive a daily meal allowance. The work is mostly out of town for one to two weeks at a time and then returning back to Calgary. Lifting Equipment offers competitive wages based on work experience, plenty of overtime, a medical/dental benefit package and a year-end bonus.
Your qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician ticket
- Mechanical aptitude is a requirement for this job
- Previous overhead crane inspection experience would be considered a major asset, but is not required
- Strong leadership skills, ability to work in a team environment, close attention to safety requirements and reliability are all key to a successful candidate
Salary will be commensurate with experience
