Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a regular full-time term Program Officer in the Workforce Training and Contract Services department. This appointment will commence July 20, 2026 and end March 31, 2027. A flexible schedule is necessary as some travel and evening / weekend work may be required. Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Support Staff Scale, Level 10.

Duties: The Program Officer will develop and administer short-term training and educational cost-recovery courses to meet the needs of industry and the general public across the region.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Act as front-line contact for the department

Liaise with internal and external departments/agencies to plan, coordinate and deliver programs
- Maintain regular contact with industry and local communities to promote CMTN training capabilities and to respond to market requirements
- Determine feasibility for a program/course by deciding on the curriculum, costs involved, availability of qualified instructors and anticipated cost-recovery

Maintain accurate statistical information
