We are looking for a high-performing, hungry Territory Manager to spearhead our expansion by securing premium, high-traffic locations for our AI-powered smart vending machines. In this role, you will represent our company in the local market, driving growth by pitching and closing deals with terminal merchants (property managers, corporate offices, universities, transit hubs, and retail venues).
You are a perfect fit if you are a "hunter" who loves closing deals, but also possesses the operational mindset to ensure machines are successfully deployed and adopted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Location & Merchant Acquisition (70%): Identify, pitch, and close partnership deals with terminal merchants and landlords to secure prime spots for our AI vending machines.
- Launch & Relationship Management (30%): Coordinate with the tech/logistics team to ensure seamless machine installation, and maintain long-term relationships with merchants to ensure high satisfaction and renewals.
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Cold-call, network, and leverage local connections to build a robust pipeline of high-traffic venues (e.g., shopping centers, premium gyms, tech offices, hospitals).
- Contract & Revenue Negotiation: Pitch the value proposition of AI-retail, negotiate contract terms, lease structures, or revenue-share models that maximize company profitability.
- Market Intelligence: Gather insights on foot traffic, competitor presence, and merchant feedback to optimize local expansion strategies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B Field Sales, Business Development, or Merchant Acquisition (experience in Merchant Services/POS sales, Commercial Real Estate, or SaaS/Retail tech is highly preferred).
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales quotas, specifically in hunting and closing new business.
- Master of pitching and negotiation—ability to clearly articulate the ROI of an "AI-powered" retail solution to traditional business owners and corporate landlords.
- Strong self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Deep knowledge of the local market.
Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
