Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipper to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient warehouse operations. This role requires familiarity with warehouse and shipping procedures, along with the ability to operate various equipment such as Counterbalance Forklifts, Combi Forklifts and Overhead Cranes. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments utilizing Counterbalance Forklifts, Combi Forklifts and Overhead Cranes.
- Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring all outgoing shipments are correctly documented and scheduled for delivery.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper order fulfillment procedures and regular stock counts.
- Ensure Load standards are met to protect products during transit.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with Logistics Supervisor to optimize order fulfillment workflows in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or order fulfillment required.
- Ability to operate Counterbalance Forklifts, Combi Forklifts and Overhead Cranes (certification is a REQUIRED).
- Math skills for order picking, quantity verification, and inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 65 per week
