Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while providing exceptional customer service. You will create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring they have a pleasant experience each time they visit.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer orders and payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and knowledge of food handling practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
