We’re looking for a compassionate, grounded, and dedicated therapist to join our practice as a sub-contractor. This part-time or casual role is ideal for a Registered Social Worker (RSW), Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), or Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) who values connection, collaboration, and providing meaningful support to clients.
The ideal candidate brings warmth and professionalism to their work, with a strong foundation in mental health care, case management, and client-centered practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide short- and long-term counselling to individuals.
- Develop personalized care and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical notes.
- Participate in team check-ins or case consultations when needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current registration and good standing with a recognized professional body (RSW, RCC, or CCC).
- Strong counselling and mental health skills, and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to work independently while staying connected to a supportive team.
- Experience supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, panic, relationship challenges, grief/loss, and stress.
- Additional training in areas such as art therapy, play and child therapy, seniors counselling, pet loss, anger management, domestic violence, or neurodivergence is a strong asset.
- Some evening or weekend availability would be helpful.
