Jordair Compressors Inc. located in Delta BC and has distributed over 5,000 compressors to a diverse client base that includes the Canadian Military, Department of Fisheries, Fire Departments and various industrial clients in the oil and gas and Petro Chemical industries.
We are looking for a full-time Certified Welder/Fabricator with experience in steel and some aluminum assembly. The candidate must have the ability to think critically and determine the materials required and plan the sequence of tasks needed to complete the outlined job. Additionally, the candidate will possess the ability to work independently, with safe and good problem-solving skills, read and interpret welding drawings and specifications. Experience operating oxygen arc cutting equipment. Operating hoisting and lifting equipment. Skills and abilities The candidate must have the physical ability to lift 50 pounds and be able to rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas and within the worksite.

Responsibilities:
- Welding TIG/MIG
- Fitting, fabricating, and manufacturing
- Work in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements:

- Able to work independently with minimal assistance
- A problem solver, quick learner, organized and adaptable
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Have a high level of attention to detail and metal finishing skill
- Experience operating oxygen arc cutting equipment
- Experience operating hoisting and lifting equipment
- Have at least 3 years work experience fabricating and welding
- Able to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be living in the greater Vancouver area
