We are looking for a motivated, curious, and proactive individual who wants to develop their expertise in Health & Safety while actively contributing to prevention initiatives and employee safety across our Saint-Hubert and Chambly sites.
You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, people-oriented, and operational environment.
Your Day-to-Day: Learning in the Field
In this role, you will be actively present within operations on a daily basis, supporting teams with Health & Safety initiatives and contributing to a safe work environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, working closely with people, and developing practical Health & Safety experience in an evolving role.
Main Responsibilities

Participate in workplace inspections and prevention activities on the production floor;

Support teams in applying Health & Safety best practices;

Assist with the follow-up of corrective and preventive actions;

Contribute to the organization and follow-up of Health & Safety committee meetings;

Assist with the administrative management of CNESST and Health & Safety files;
-
Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis alongside the H&S team;

Help prepare and deliver Health & Safety training sessions;

Participate in internal audits and inspections with guidance and support;
-
Ensure Health & Safety documentation remains up to date and organized;
-
Support the monitoring of PPE compliance and safety procedures;

Collaborate with production, HR, and operations teams on various Health & Safety initiatives;

Travel regularly between the Saint-Hubert and Chambly sites (vehicle required).
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should:
-
Hold a university degree in Health & Safety, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or another related field;
-
Have between 0 and 3 years of experience in Health & Safety or within a manufacturing environment;
-
Demonstrate a strong interest in prevention, field work, and continuous improvement;
-
Be recognized for your professionalism, attention to detail, and collaborative approach;
-
Possess strong communication and teamwork skills;
-
Show initiative, autonomy, and willingness to learn;
-
Have good analytical and problem-solving abilities;
-
Be bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
-
Be comfortable using standard computer tools including MS Word and MS Excel.
Assets

Manufacturing experience;
-
Internship or academic experience in Health & Safety;
-
Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and regulations;

Familiarity with CNESST, OSHA, or WSIB regulations.
